Virtual Consultations

All consultations can be conducted virtually except lifestyle consults as this requires the InBody composition scan for the personalized meal plan.

Virtual consults have become somewhat of a must in health care. I have patients who consult with me from all parts of South Africa. Medication is couriered straight to your door. Every part of the consult that would be covered face-to-face, is covered in a virtual consult so you are receiving the same quality healthcare you would, had you visited my practice.

If you’re ready to make a change, all you need is 60 minutes of your time to discuss your health with me and I’ll do the rest.

Initial Consultation:

  • Approximately 60 minutes
  • Detailed case taking regarding main complaint/s and medical history
  • Discuss current health goals as well as lifestyle, sleep and stress.
  • Overview on supplementation – correct vitamins and supplements are recommended based on consultation and blood tests.
  • At the end of this consultation, I will discuss the treatment plan.
  • Blood tests may be required. I personally give patients feedback on their results and discuss any additional medication required.
  • Patient receives exclusive access to my mobile app – access to recipes, articles, Women’s Lifestyle plan and more.

Follow-up Consultations:

  • Between 30 – 45 minutes
  • Discussion of progress in treatment. Script adjusted according to the patient so follow ups and patient-doctor communication is vital.
  • Scheduled as needed on an individual basis but generally occur 3-6 monthly.
  • Follow up blood tests to assess your progress will be recommended at certain intervals.

Blood Tests

These tests are used to determine general health status, disease screening, hormone levels and inflammatory markers. I will select which tests are needed based on your consult and objectives.

Will be done at any of the local pathology laboratories: Lancet, Ampath, Pathcare, Lab24 or Flowpath.

Depending on your medical aid scheme, these tests may be fully covered by medical aid. Cash docs are available for those patients not on medical aid.
