Who is this for?

  • If you’re gaining weight or struggling to lose weight
  • If you have diabetes, high cholesterol or high blood pressure and need to change your lifestyle; require guidance on your diet and would like to evaluate your weight.
  • Healthy individuals who would like to optimize their health by evaluating their body composition and improve their diet.

I believe weight gain is merely a symptom of an underlying imbalance. This imbalance could be hormonal, nutritional, metabolic or even lifestyle-related.

I want to empower you to understand the reasons driving the weight gain and implement an effective and holistic management plan to help you lose the weight and maintain a healthy weight therefore my approach to weight loss is completely individualized.

The goal of this plan is to:

  • Arm you with nutrition knowledge that will allow you to make better food choices no matter what the occasion, where you are, or who you are with.
  • Provide you with information on living a healthy lifestyle that includes improved sleep, hydration, and stress adaptation.
  • Help you get started with physical activity and discover the physical, mental, and health benefits of incorporating fitness into your everyday life.

How is this different from other meals plans?

Meal plans are customized to meet your specific health needs and personalized to meet individual food preferences (e.g., gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian) and/or food sensitivities. A meal plan is formulated taking into account all information from the consult and outcome of blood tests. Therefore, it is modified according to a patient’s underlying health conditions that can affect their body composition such as hypothyroidism, insulin resistance, high cortisol and stress etc.

What to expect from the Lifestyle consultation:

  • Approximately 60 minutes
  • Discuss current health goals as well as lifestyle, sleep and stress.
  • An InBody composition scan is conducted to measure metabolic rate, body fat percentage, muscle mass and total body water.
  • Using your metabolic rate, I calculate the daily caloric intake required to reach your goal.
  • Based on activity level and food preferences, I will create a meal plan for you using my preferred food list.
  • I will also create a physical activity program and set goals that will help you begin the process of lifestyle change.
  • A monthly InBody ‘weigh in’ is advised to track progress.
  • Overview on supplementation – correct vitamins and supplements are recommended based on consultation and blood tests.
  • Blood tests are required. Additional medication will be dispensed based on consult and blood test results.
  • Patient receives exclusive access to my mobile app – access to recipes, articles, Women’s Lifestyle plan and more.
